  • Lindsey Martell, DVM, CVA, CVPP

    DVM, CVA, CVPP

Dr. Lindsey Martell knew she wanted to help animals since a young age and started working in the veterinary field in high school. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Martell completed an internship in anesthesia and critical care, and received extensive training in soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Committed to high-quality medicine and her patients, Dr. Martell is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner, and trained in abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds. She has professional interests in alternative rehabilitation approaches, specifically treating disk disease and neurological disorders with acupuncture and rehabilitation. Dr. Martell expresses that her favorite part about working at Skippack Animal Hospital is being able to see and meet so many great clients and pets on a daily basis. When she is not caring for pets at Skippack, she volunteers her time as a rescue veterinarian for Bella Reed Pitbull rescue. Growing up, Dr. Martell's first pet was a beautiful Samoyed named Saka. Currently, she has four rescue Pit bulls named Tyler, Penny Lane, Bella, and Georgi S'ghettios. She also has two feline friends, Wally and Albus, and a draft Mare, Anniah. In her free time, Dr. Martell enjoys horseback riding, rescuing Pit bulls, and visiting the Italian Market where she savors her favorite foods.

  • Dr. Kathleen Kelly

    DVM

Dr. Kathleen Kelly joined the team at Skippack Animal Hospital in February 2019. Her inspiration for becoming a veterinarian is rooted in her deep love for studying science, helping animals, and solving problems. Dr. Kelly started working in the veterinary field in 2008, and in 2014 she achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kelly has professional interests in dentistry and surgical care. To Dr. Kelly, the best parts of her job at Skippack Animal Hospital include meeting new clients and pets and learning new skills in animal science each day that will help her to elevate the level of care she provides. Her first pet was a Rottweiler named Sam, and today she is the proud owner of a Rottweiler/Labrador mixed breed named Mr. Coolley and an orange tabby cat named Finnegan. When not spending time with her pet at home or clients at work, Dr. Kelly enjoys gardening, Muay Thai, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes.
